MISS PAT
In the 1970s I lived on Clark Air Base, passionately baking cookies and eagerly trying to keep up with all the oatmeal my mom bought as she collected the enclosed drinking glasses. Over the years, I meticulously perfected my recipe, and for decades, I joyfully baked and gave cookies away. Finally, in early 2010 I heeded the persistent encouragement of my daughters and took the plunge to start my own business. For the next 10 years, I poured my heart into selling cookies at farmers' markets and festivals, and into corporate gifting, sending my beloved cookies all over the continental US. Then came COVID, forcing me to make the heartbreaking decision to shut the business down to care for my 92-year-old mother.
Three years later, after she passed away, I felt a renewed fire and decided to take one more daring leap off the skinny branch and move to Georgia. Now, it’s time to reignite Miss Pat’s Cookies. I’m beyond excited to reconnect with some of my favorite people: fellow cookie monsters.
Major upgrades are underway, so stay tuned! I’m coming back, y’all, and I can’t wait to share the love and sweetness with you all again!
